Endless racer #DRIVE to receive Limited Run Games physical release

When the servers have long been switched off, the patches stopped downloading and digital stores closed, there will still be physical media.

Thanks to companies like Limited Run Games, collectors can pick up some of the indie-published games in a physical form for prosperity.

In the case of #DRIVE, they may also purchase it simply because the cover art and packaging look cool.

#DRIVE Switch Limited Run Games physical release

The game, by PM Studios and Pixel Perfect Dude, is an endless driving game inspired by road movies of the 70s and 80s. It features stylised low poly visuals, eight locations and over 90 vehicles to unlock. It originally launched in 2020 for iOS and Android mobile devices, followed by a Nintendo Switch Definitive Edition, which also throws in a Photo Mode, in February 2021.

The physical release is available in two flavours: standard for $29.99 and steelbook for $49.99, both include a scented car air freshener.

Pre-orders go live via Limited Run Games later today, (26th October) at 12 pm EST/ 5 pm BST, with 2,900 standard edition and 2,000 steelbook versions available.
