The upcoming World of Outlaws console game from Monster Games and iRacing will feature Eldora Speedway and launch in just three months’ time.
The new social handle for the upcoming game, now titled World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing, is @outlaws_game on Twitter. Per the iRacing social account’s retweet of the Eldora news, the team will be revealing featured tracks over the next few weeks.
Last week, a new website opened up for the upcoming game where fans can receive updates about the game through its release later this year.
We can tell from the new site that the game’s release date has been changed more precisely from Fall 2022 to September 2022. Also, we now know that the consoles that will receive the release include the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Extensive career mode
In the game, there will be a Career Mode which includes a bottom-to-top ladder system, starting at local tracks and working up to the World of Outlaws ranks.
The title will also include the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and Late Models, as well as four additional DIRT car classes, including Street Stocks.
Offical track list
Eldora was the first track to be revealed, but the website also lists Volusia and Williams Grove, two other tracks already on iRacing – the PC-only simulation platform already featuring official WoO content. In total, there will be more than 40 tracks. Finally, we know there will be official drivers in the game, but only Brad Sweet is listed at present.
Are there any specific WoO dirt tracks that you are hoping to be included in the new game? Let us know in the comments below. I’m sure we’ll get plenty more announcements over the next three months, so keep it pinned and we’ll keep you up to date as new information becomes available.
