EA SPORTS F1 24 will be added to its publisher’s game subscription service on Thursday 20th February 2025.

Those who subscribe to EA Play on PC, PlayStation and Xbox will see the most recent Formula 1 driving game added to the service’s library to download and play.

The service provides access to a catalogue of Electronics Arts titles, either charged per month or yearly. Standard EA Play is £5.99/$5.99 per month or £35.99/$39.99 a year, whereas a Pro tier for access to ‘premium’ game editions for £16.99/$16.99 per month, £109.99/$119.99 a year.

It will join the likes of EA SPORTS F1 23, Need for Speed Unbound, GRID Legends, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and EA SPORTS WRC as racing games on the service.

EA Play is also included in some Game Pass tiers – PC and Ultimate, but not Core or Standard. If you are a subscriber to those two top levels, then you will also have access to F1 24 from the 20th.

The game features every driver, team and track from the 2024 real-world season, and introduced a significantly overhauled driver career – but was sandbagged somewhat by a polarising handling model.

Released in May of last year, it follows a now-yearly tradition of the F1 games being added at a later date to EA Play, just ahead of a (usual) unveiling of the next iteration. It recently won the Racing Game of the Year crown at the DICE industry awards.

Meanwhile, EA SPORTS F1 22 leaves the roster on the same day.
