Car Mechanic Simulator Drag Racing DLC coming this November

Accelerate your skills as a tune-up artist and bring drag-racing to life on 9th November 2022.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, the virtual mechanic shop that allows you to morph into mini coveralls and get your hands dirty while crafting unique customizable cars, is set to release a unique DLC next month. And it’ll be a total drag…racing, that is.

The mechanic shop has undergone some pretty cool renovations to make way for a whole new line of equipment that will ensure top speed and excitement. Soup-up rides like the Pagani Huayra Tempesta and go head-to-head in parallel with AI in several modes:

  • Practice – Exam your car and configure your opponent; change his engine, tires and tuning values.
  • Quick Race – Pick a class and race with randomized car setups
  • Single Race – Check your build and reaction time with an opponent matched to your rating.
  • Championships – Challenge your vehicle in a series of races; bet who will win and grab a big prize at the end.

Choose from four different distances—1/8 Mile, 1/4 Mile, 1/2 Mile and 1 Mile—and let your sim do the draggin’!

Just like the base game, players will essentially get the keys to an incredible garage that can be personalized into a mechanic’s dream space. Red Dot Games is constantly updating their vehicle roster, too, with recent DLC releases such as the Aston Martin, Mazda Remastered and a Lotus two-pack.
