Trackmania, the insanely popular, free-to-play racing game from Ubisoft Nadeo, has announced another collaboration with Spanish automotive brand Cupra.
In October last year, Cupra and Trackmania teamed up to create an entirely new city for Trackmania, with three districts and 12 separate tracks added to the game, all with a hint of cyberpunk.
“This partnership is just the beginning of our commitment to gamers, we want to go even further in the world of gaming and esports,” commented Robert Breschkow, Managing Director of CUPRA France at the time.
And his words have led to the upcoming release of another new circuit for Trackmania; sharing the futuristic aesthetic of previous entries but inspired by a real-world location: the Circuit de la Sarthe, best known as the home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In the first example of ‘Cupra NeoTracks’, Ubisoft Nadeo and Cupra have gone for a new take on the famous Dunlop bridge, with ‘Born’ and ‘Formentor’ themes creating two diverse landscapes. The circuit is unmistakably Le Mans, even if the French venue lacks a Cupra Formentor rock sculpture…
The good news for Trackmania fans is the new circuit will be available to try for free on the 4th of September via the game’s ‘Track of the Day’ feature from 7 PM CEST / 6 PM BST. The content will be available across all of Trackmania’s supported platforms; including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Amazon Luna.
