Challenge mode added to JDM - Rise of the Scorpion

We were enamoured by our initial taste of Japanese Drift Master with the free Rise of the Scorpion prologue.

It turns out the development team at Gaming Factory is continuing to explore new features for the preview version, as a new challenge mode has arrived today, 30th August.

This will see you take on AI-controlled rivals in both drift and grip challenges, aiming to score points are be first across the line.

Each will be in a closed-off circuit, as opposed to the open-world area, and will see you drive a variety of vehicles – instead of buying and tuning your customised ride.

The new mode is quickly accessed from the game’s main menu, where you will get behind the wheel of licenced models from Mazda and Subaru.

Other tweaks and changes have been added in the latest update too, including Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheel presets, an enhanced ability to custom bind inputs and adjusted physics for some cars.
