Bloody Rally Show coming to consoles in early November

Yet another top-down rally game is coming out soon, but this one might be a little more violent and gritty than some of the other games in the genre. Bloody Rally Show, a new game developed by Lithuanian indie studio Kodo Linija and published by Digerati, brings racing, weaponry and carnage under one roof.

This game already exists with positive reviews on PC, but now we’ll see it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch next month.

The game is based off of a future dystopian society in which this type of shock entertainment brings in the big bucks. You must “drift, boost, and blast to keep the viewers entertained and your paymasters happy.” The game is classified as a mix between “top-down arcade racing and hyper-violent reality TV.”

There is a campaign mode for single players, local multiplayer for up to four players and an infinite number of randomly-generated race courses. The game currently boasts a 91% positive user rating on Steam and was awarded ‘Best PC Game’ at the Lithuanian Game Awards.

The game includes a range of banned Group B rally cars from the real world, special races with special circumstances, weaponized vehicular combat and even a pedestrian mode. Game photographers may enjoy taking pictures of the action in pedestrian mode, but may also become a part of the casualties.

This game launches on PlayStation 4 first, on 3rd November. The Nintendo Switch version releases on 4th November, and the Xbox One comes out on 5th November. The Xbox One version will be available to pre-order with a 20% launch discount starting Friday, 29th October. All versions will launch with a 20% discount for a limited time.

If the Steam listing is any indication, the game should be around $19.99. Have you played Bloody Rally Show? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
