Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator gets Nintendo Switch release date

One of the first things I got to cover when I started here at Traxion was the announcement of Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator making the jump from PC via Steam to consoles. Well, it’s been pretty quiet since that announcement, but thankfully we have some signs of life from the Polish development team at BeardedBrothers.games and the publishing team at Pineapple Works.

The Nintendo Switch will be the first platform that the series will branch out on. Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator rings in the new year when it releases on 3rd January 2022. The premise hasn’t changed either since we covered it back in May. It will be packed full of all the same features, including 15 different types of motorcycles, customization options, garage expansion, auction house and the 1/4 mile drag strip test track.

The Steam version already exists with mostly-positive reviews as it is, so now players will be able to take it on the go with them with the power of the Nintendo Switch. It is a bit delayed – the initial reports were that we’d see a release in the third quarter of 2021. With the first console release now pushed to Q1 in 2022, there’s not really any timetable set for the PlayStation and Xbox releases.

Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator is currently available on Steam and will launch on Switch at a £22.49 / $24.99 price point. Let us know if you’ve got this one wishlisted, or if you’ve gotten to try it on Steam in the comments below.
