Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator coming to Switch, PS4, Xbox One

If you don’t already know, there’s a fun simulator for all motorcycle enthusiasts out there.

Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator is making the jump to console gaming later this year. This title is currently available on Steam from developer BeardedBrothers.games, but in the third quarter of this year, players will be able to take their two-wheel talents to the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or the PlayStation 4 thanks to publisher Pineapple Works.

For the most part, players will spend time building and customizing one of 15 motorcycles, but digging deeper, it’s a little more than just being a virtual mechanic. Sure, the premise of the title is to simulate the building process, but you also must test the machines, find new bikes (in either the auction house or junkyard) to work on and build the virtual garage around you.

The 300-plus reviews on Steam are mostly positive, and the game touts that the gameplay is endless, as “clients always come back with new problems”. New features get unlocked as you progress through, like, once you hit a certain level, you’ll be able to race and make bids in the auction house. At some point, you’ll even be able to build your dream motorcycle.

Next-gen console owners won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on this platform either, as a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S / Series X update is planned to release shortly after the initial console versions.

Will you be getting this sim when it launches on console, or will you be checking it out on Steam now that we’ve told you about it? Tell us about your thoughts on it.
