Barbie’s Dream Camper now available for Hot Wheels Unleashed

Yet more downloadable content has been released today (17th December) for Hot Wheels Unleashed, and this time it includes a barbie-themed vehicle.

Barbie’s Dream Camper, resplendent in its pink colour scheme, is now available as a paid DLC add-on for the excitable racing game which made our best of the year list.

Fans of the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers animated television show can now also pick up the Bassline vehicle, further adding to the roster from this spin-off. This was driven by the character Shirako Takamoto and features the sound of a V10 engine.

As is the case with Hot Wheels Unleashed, modules – obstacles that add a sense of peril to tracks – are also paid extras. These gameplay-effecting sections can be used in the Track Builder and then shared online.

Here we have two new additions: Spinning Tire and Dinopult. The latest update is rounded out by the Holiday Season Customization Pack. This includes:

For the Basement:

  • Two walls
  • Two floors
  • One door
  • One decoration
  • One couch
  • One set of four posters

For the Unleashed Profile:

  • One icon
  • One tag
  • One background

This is a fairly subdued set of additions for the game as we near the festive season. While each item is available for purchase individually, this also rounds out the first season pass – Hot Wheels Pass Vol.1. For £24.99/$29.99, this includes all of today’s new content and all paid DLC released up to this point.

A second volume will start in February 2022 and we’ll have more information as to the included contents in the new year.
