Assetto Corsa Competizione receives a 2024-season update

ACC is not dead (yet), as a fresh batch of liveries has arrived on PC alongside additional wheel support.

Assetto Corsa Competizione receives a 2024-season update

With Assetto Corsa EVO just around the corner, hopefully, the team at Kunos Simulazioni has continue to support its Competizione simulation.

ACC has received a new game update, and with it comes a 2024 GT World Challenge Europe season.

That does not mean an updated version of Spa-Francorchamps or the latest Aston Martin Vantage GT3 car. But, it does mean the latest real-world paint schemes, driver names and faces plus team names. There is now also a ‘2024’ menu option.

Button presets for four steering wheel peripherals have also been added, namely:

  • Turtle Beach Velocity One
  • Moza Racing R3
  • Moza Racing R12
  • Moza Racing R21

It’s simultaneously a modest, but pivotal, update. It keeps the GTWC organises SRO seemingly happy – ACC is the official driving simulation of the series – but the question of continued support for the platform in a post-EVO world remains to be seen.

The patch is live today, 28th August 2024, and while there is no word yet for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S drivers, we wouldn’t be surprised if the 2024-season update heads your way soon.
