The popular drag-racing mobile game, CSR Racing 2, has just received a new expansion in the form of the American Road Trip 2.
Following 2020’s original expansion, and in a similar them, this new addition is a cost-to-cost US tour that celebrates American car culture. A free RAM 1500 TRX truck will be added to players’ collections – the Hemi-powered truck generates over 700bhp and is one of the most outrageous pick-ups ever produced.
With challenges set between June and October 2022, events will be set in locations between California and New York, including Philadelphia, Detroit and Los Angeles. In total, there will be 14 different events to take part in.
10 new vehicles including NASCAR
Alongside the aforementioned RAM 1500 TRX truck, there will be nine additional vehicles, including the upcoming Czinger 21C and Hennessey Venom F5 hypercars plus the current Next Gen Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro NASCARs.
The 2020 American Road Trip challenges added the previous specification Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE stock car, but now there’s a contemporary car thanks to this Mustang addition.

“American Road Trip 2 will bring our players a thrilling summer racing road trip across the country with exciting new vehicles to drive – all without leaving home,” said Julian Widdows, Senior Vice President of Racing at the game’s developer NaturalMotion.
The studio is owned by Zynga, which in turn was purchased by Take-Two Interactive in May 2022.
The game just celebrated its six-year anniversary by giving away a Nissan Silvia S15 Liberty Walk after over 6 million races took place in-game within three days.
The update is now live for Apple iOS and Android devices, and like the rest of CSR Racing 2, is free to play with optional in-game transactions. The full event itinerary is below.
