Assetto Corsa Rally’s surprise reveal at this year’s SimRacing Expo took the sim racing world by storm. Developed by a new team at Supernova Games Studios in technical partnership with Kunos Simulazioni, the spin-off game is set to be an uncompromising rally simulation in the vein of DiRT Rally and Richard Burns Rally.
Initially, Assetto Corsa Rally will only be available on PC, launching on Steam Early Access with 10 cars and two locations on 13th November. However, Supernova Games has revealed that console versions are already in development.
“We are already working on consoles,” said Game Director Irvin Zonca, speaking at the SimRacing Expo. “Because technically, we are already deploying weekly builds on game consoles.”

“At Supernova, we believe that quality always beats quantity. So, in terms of contents, assets and available builds, we will take our time to do the right stuff, because we want to create something that is here to stay.”
“Console [releases] will arrive, but we’re now focusing on PC mainly.”
Platforms remain unconfirmed, but Assetto Corsa Rally will presumably launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Staggered releases are nothing new for the franchise. The original Assetto Corsa and Competizione initially launched in Early Access before coming to consoles over a year after the final PC releases. Console ports of Assetto Corsa EVO are also planned, but there is no timeline yet.
