VRider SBK, the official game of the FIM Superbike World Championship, is set to be released on both Steam VR and PlayStation VR 2 platforms, according to developer Funny Tales.
Initially released for Meta Quest VR headsets, VRider is now poised to make the jump to the mainstream, simulating the 2023 WSBK season and its official lineup of bikes, tracks and riders.
PS VR2 users aren’t exactly swimming in native PS5 racing games right now, Gran Turismo 7 excepted, so the emergence of a new immersive title with solid production values will no doubt be appealing, although a release date has yet to be revealed.

Funny Tales has also assured fans that VRider on PS VR 2 and Steam won’t just be a straight port, promising several improvements, including enhanced graphics, animated off-track details, 22 AI opponents and cross-play with Meta VR players (up to six players will be able to race against each other online).
If the prospect of racing officially licensed Ducati, Yamaha, BMW or Honda motorcycles on tracks like Assen, Philip Island and Misano excites you, then keep an eye out for VRider SBK’s PS VR 2 and Steam VR release date shortly.
