Sim racing hardware supplier Thrustmaster has announced its continued partnership with Ferrari, joining the Ferrari Esports Series as Technical Partner.

The long-standing relationship with the Italian marque is key for both parties when it comes to developing replica racing products and “will help increase their experience in elite esports competition to develop new synergies.”

Eric Mindjimba, International Esports Team Manager said: “Our partnership with the Ferrari Esports Series 2021 is not only a logical and natural continuation of everything we have already achieved together, but it is also based on a shared vision of the future of Esports.”

The alliance extends Thrustmaster’s involvement in the Ferrari Esports space with the brands already united in their F1 Esports programme as well.

Entering its second season, the Ferrari Esports Series is a continuation of a successful first year and looks to build on an interesting and engaging format. Registration is currently open for any European competitors that are over 18, and again only for PC users with the Assetto Corsa platform.

The first action begins on 5th April with hot lap qualifying, before the first qualification race at the end of the month.

There is no mention if final competitors need to use Thrustmaster equipment exclusively or if any hardware will be included in the prize packages, but be sure to keep up to date with all Ferrari Esports Series news on Traxion.
