Based on our recent hands-on previews, EA SPORTS WRC is shaping up to be an authentic rally sim that’s best with a steering wheel peripheral. Now, compared to DiRT Rally 2.0, it’s also seemingly made great strides for those driving with a gamepad, but to get the most out of it, plug in your extra device.
The full list of steering wheel compatibility has been released, and as expected with Fanatec being a World Rally Championship partner, the German brand’s devices are all included. The only exceptions seem to be the upcoming ClubSport DD and DD+ devices, which are not yet shipping to customers.

For those with Thrustmaster’s latest direct drive T818, it appears you’re out of luck for native support on day one. This is curious, as it recently teased a new rally steering wheel and Game Designer Jon Armstrong is a Thrustmaster ambassador.
No devices by the likes of VRS, Moza Racing, Asetek SimSports, PXN, Hori or Simucube are on the list either. We hope Moza and Asetek can update their Pit House and RaceHub software respectively at the game’s launch as a work-around.
At least Logitech’s PRO direct drive wheel base is supported across PC and console, alongside Fanatec’s CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro devices, and popular entry-level wheels such as the Logitech G923 and Thrustmaster’s T128/248.
The full lists are below per device and if any post-release updates add to these, we’ll update this article.
Note: even if your wheel is not listed, it will likely still be recognised and be perfectly useable in-game.
