You can now claim your Toyota GR Corolla in Gran Turismo 7

The Morizo Edition of the Japanese hot hatch removes the rear seats and increases the structural bracing alongside other track-focused tweaks over the ‘regular’ versions. It uses the same all-wheel-drive system and three-cylinder turbocharged engine, however.

It marks the debut of the current GR Corolla in not only Gran Turismo 7 but gaming and sim racing in general.

Prize tickets were distributed today, 28th August 2023, for those who took part in the final round of this season’s Toyota completion. Well, I say took part, all you had to do really was register your interest, and then hey presto, new Toyota is yours!

It now means, provided you received a redeemable ticket, you can use the car outside of the set event’s time trial practice. There’s also a wide-body option (some very subtle arch extensions) and several splitter, diffuser, side skirt and spoiler options in GT Auto.

The car will be available for all via Brand Central in late September.
