Gran Turismo 7 is set to receive a brand new concept car, this time from Ferrari.

The Vision Gran Turismo scheme was first introduced into the game series in 2013’s Gran Turismo 6 with the Mercedes-AMG VGT.

Since then, there have been 28 further new designs, plus some variations such as SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo options or the road-going Peugeot L500R and the motorsport-focused Peugeot L750R

Each new Vision GT is designed by the real-world car manufacturer’s design team, but especially for the games.

The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo addition will be unveiled on Sunday 27th November 2022, during the Gran Turismo World Series World Final – the culmination of the season’s virtual competition.

This does not necessarily mean the Prancing Horse will be available within Gran Turismo 7 within the November update, as that is expected to land before the reveal – but let’s hope it is playable sooner rather than later.

The 15 -second teaser trailer doesn’t give much away. We’re hesitant, but we think there’s a side-profile shot that reminds us of a prototype race vehicle, and it ends with a menacing look at the car’s LED headlights, or daytime running lights.

These remind us of the newly unveiled 499P Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) for the 2023 real-world season.

Lamborghini was added to the roster for Gran Turismo 7, alongside two new variations GT Sport’s Jaguar VGT. In fact, the V12 raging bull was unveiled at the 2019 Gran Turismo World Series finals.

The most recent all-new addition was the aforementioned Porsche Vision Gran Turismo for the seventh numbers game, released in March 2022. Recently, McLaren announced a limited production run of its VGT creation, now entitled the BC08 Solus.
