It’s time for one of the most well-known public holidays in Mexico, Cinco de Mayo, with Forza Horizon 5 dedicating this month’s series to the event.

Tons of Ferrari cars are available to unlock within this series, starting off with the Ferrari SF90 for 80 points, and the Ferrari 599 GTO for 160 points.

As for the first season, you’ll be able to unlock the Ferrari 250 GT for 20 points, and the Ford Mustang 1971 for 40 points.

Fireflies Treasure Hunt

This Forza Horizon 5 season also contains a new Treasure Hunt Challenge named Fireflies, with the clue “Fly the Fire like a bird to collect 5 stars”.

This challenge can be completed by jumping into the Pontiac Firebird Trans AM 1977, which can be bought from the Autoshow for 45,000 CR, and earn five stars within danger signs.

Upon completion, a confirmation will land on-screen, and an orange circle will appear in the south-eastern section of the map, just to the north of the Horizon Apex Outpost.

Head to the orange circle, and the chest can be found in the swampy water between two boats along a boardwalk, slightly to the east of the Boardwalk Danger Sign.

Simply smash into the treasure chest, and the 100FP and three points are yours.

PHOTO CHALLENGE #FESTIVECOLOURS

This week’s photo challenge requires you to jump into any car and head to Guanajuato with its Cinco de Mayo decorations. The city can be found within the northern area of the map and contains an abundance of holiday decorations throughout.

Simply head to the city, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards. Upon completion, the Raúl Urias Cap reward is yours.

You can wear this by visiting your home and selecting Customise Character in the My Festival tab.

Jumping straight into the series as this week’s challenge requires you to drive the Volkswagen Golf GTI 1983, which can be acquired at the Autoshow for 20,000CR.

You’re required to win a Street Race, earn 5 stars from Speed Zones, and end it with earning an Ultimate Skill Chain.

This week, the Car Pass DLC for Forza Horizon 5 has added a brand new pick-up truck. Although, not a rough, tough, off-roading work-type truck.
