It’s time for a new Forza Horizon 5 update, and this time around it adds a new Festival Playlist, Series 5, native sign-language support and the squashing of several issues.
“The team has been really hard at work fixing bugs,” explained Tom Butcher, Senior Producer at Playground Games on a recent Let’s ¡GO! presentation.
Top of the hitlist is the time of day no longer transitioning while the Photo Mode was in use and the frustrating bug when players weren’t able to use headlights during night Horizon Open events.
At last, the retro-active points from the ill-fated Festival Playlist Series 1 and Series 2 events will now be awarded once the patch goes live. This was discussed back in January, and during the Series 4 update at the start of February it was said that they would ‘come soon’.
These challenges will now appear with a gold tint within the Series History, and if those points help you towards an Achievement, that will now pop.
In addition, for the Livery Editor, the layer numbers have been reworked for a clearer experience, handy if you had a complex design in the work.
There are also a whole host of small tweaks too for this update, which we’ve included below. It will launch for PC (Xbox and Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on 1st March 2022.
