As the real-world winter is coming to an end, Forza Horizon 5’s World Cup winter season has just begun in Series 4 of the Festival Playlist.
Snow will appear within the volcano area, the perfect time to gather up the frosty themed accolades. This week features a new Photo Challenge and a Treasure Hunt, both rewarding you with five points towards the season.
The cars available to unlock as Season Rewards for this week are the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 2012 for 25 points – returning to the Forza Horizon series – and the Jaguar XJ220 1993 for 40 points.
If you’ve been working hard for this series, you should have enough points for the Saleen S7 2004 for 100 points by now.
Onto the Treasure Hunt named On Target, with this week’s clue being “Look! Rallying beasts chasing five bulls!”.
At first glance, this devilish hint seems to be rather tricky to solve, however it’s much simpler than you think. On Target? Five bulls? What do these have in common? The answer is to jump into any car under the Rally Monster tag and smash into five bullseyes.
These bullseyes can be found within the Air Horizon Arcade events, however, for the lazy people out there, we’ve created an Event Lab to get this done and over with.
If you’d like to use this, pause the game, head to Creative Hub at the top, select Event Lab, choose Event Blueprints, and press the Search button at the bottom of the screen. At the very bottom of the search options, input 159 129 887 into the Share Code option, and press confirm.
From here, simply choose a rally monster car, and smash into the bullseyes ahead.
Upon reaching the bullseye target, the red circle will appear nearby the El Estadio Horizon, located just to the south of Guanajuato. A treasure chest will be located on the southern side of the stadium and placed upon a truck within the parking lot.
Getting to the chest is tricky, but with some careful driving up the ramp and over to the far side, you should be able to reach this without a problem.
Upon smashing the treasure chest, you’ll receive 50,000 credits alongside three points towards the festival playlist will be yours.
PHOTO CHALLENGE #AHEADOFTHEGAME
This photo challenge is fairly simple, as it requires you to photograph the Land Rover Range Rover Velar First Edition 2018 at the Baja Circuit, located to the Western side of the map.
The circuit is on the north side of the Baja Festival, and it can be completed within any section of the layout. If you have yet to unlock the car, it can be purchased from the Autoshow for 85,000 credits.
Upon reaching the circuit, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards. Upon completion, the Banjo-Kazooie Spiral Mountain Part 2 car horn reward can be applied by pausing the game in freeroam, select the Cars tab, then Car Horn on the bottom right.
From here, head to the Musical Horns tab at the top, and the Banjo-Kazooie Spiral Mountain Part 2 sound effect is readily available to be used, found within the Legendary rarity.
SERIES 4 DRY SEASON #FORZATHON SHOP HIGHLIGHTS
This week’s rewards available within Series 3’s Dry season are two cars, a jacket and a car horn, alongside the always available Wheelspins.
Both cars within the shop are also available to be purchased from the Autoshow, however, it’s worth grinding the points for them considering their combined cost is 4.8 million credits. The available items from the Forzathon Shop this week are:
