Sector 3 Studios have announced another update to its online sim RaceRoom Racing Experience today. Version 0.9.3.96 arrives as the fourth Raceroom update of 2022, which so far has included the addition of the TT Circuit Assen, and the Indianapolis Road and Oval layouts.
This time, one of RaceRoom’s free cars receives close attention, with the Aquila CR1 Sports GT car having its tyres adjusted comprehensively. The V8 machine has had its front to rear tyre wear ratio altered, its wear and grip profile updated, and its optimal tyre temperature lowered.
As well as tyre adjustments, the Aquila’s brake bias settings have been expanded and its dampers have been tweaked to improve the car’s performance over bumps. These changes represent a fairly major overhaul to the car’s dynamics, and is especially encouraging given the car is available to RaceRoom players for free.
Aside from the Aquila, there have been a number of other minor updates, including new liveries for the Porsche 911 GT3R and the addition of the CUPRA León Competición to the TC Class.

The GTO and Group C classes also appear to have had a slight balancing, with the Group C Nissan R90CK receiving roll centre changes to improve handling, and the GTO Audi and Nissan obtaining boost adjustments.
