Just as the Formula Pro Series visited the Nürburgring earlier week, the Formula Challenge series is in the Rhineland-Palatinate state, as the top split do battle live later today.
A sister series to Pro, Challenge uses the same V10-powered single-seater within rFactor 2 and the same race format – except qualification is via the in-platform Competition System, with over 200 drivers fighting for their chance to be in Formula Pro next season.
Last time out at Silverstone, Zansho Simsports’ Schoonvliet Arne won ahead of Jim Parisis and Round 1 podium-finisher Noah Reuvers.

- 18:55 BST / 19:55 CEST / 10.55 ET / 13.55 PT – Live broadcast starts
- 19:10 BST / 20:10 CEST – Qualifying (either a single four-lap run or two one-lap runs)
- 19:35 BST / 20:35 CEST – Race (45-minute race, standing start, pitstops are allowed but aren’t mandatory)
