  • ETS2’s Coaches DLC set for release on 12th November 2026
  • New game mode to feature three coaches from MAN, Scania and Volvo

It’s been a long wait, but Euro Truck Simulator 2’s much-anticipated Coaches DLC is nearing its terminus.

Developer SCS Software has today revealed a new video trailer for the bus-based content alongside its release date: 12th November 2026.

The premise is simple: pick up passengers and transport them to their destination as promptly and as comfortably as possible. Successful trips gain more rewards and, more importantly, happy passengers. So, speeding, collisions and harsh braking are a definite no-no.

Confirmed coach manufacturers include MAN, Scania and Volvo (Scania Touring, Volvo 9700 DD and the MAN Lion’s Coach, specifically), and all will have customisable chassis and interiors. Engines, transmissions, upholstery and curtain colours can all be tailored to your preference, with Quick Jobs, Contract Jobs and the more serene Tourist Jobs all available.

Since the DLC’s announcement back in June 2025, SCS has worked on updating the game’s incumbent bus stations to complement coaches, with entirely new stopping points added along the way.

The Czech studio is also set to release its Iceland map pack this month, with a UK rework, Soul of Anatolia and Ireland DLCs to follow. Long-term (hopefully 2027), the studio also plans to release console ports of both ETS2 and sister title American Truck Simulator, making next year a huge one for SCS.

Coaches for ETS2 is available to Wishlist on Steam now, although its price is yet to be revealed.
