It was at last year’s 24 Hours of Spa where Kunos Simulazioni’s Marco Massarutto confirmed that the new cars headed to the GT World Challenge series would be headed to Assetto Corsa Competizione in ‘spring’ 2023.
Now, all three new cars, plus a new circuit, have been confirmed as the next set of downloadable content for the officially SRO-licenced sim racing platform.
This follows the Challengers Pack and American Track Pack last year and preceded a GT2 car pack later this year.
The 2023 GT World Challenge pack will release on 19th April for PC-only. The PlayStation and Xbox timeframe is yet to be revealed. It will include:
Cars
Track
The first clear images of each car in-platform have also been shared by the Assetto Corsa social media channels. The Ferrari and Lamborghini, of note, are particularly fresh, making their virtual debut.
We’ve previously previewed each of the three cars and the track in recent weeks, and now we’re looking forward to getting out hands on the pack next week when pricing is expected to be unveiled.
It will release at the same time as a Version 1.9 physics update, which includes a new tyre model and improved bump stop behaviour.
