Assetto Corsa Competizione fans were able to get a first look at some upcoming additional content in the form of the new and shiny Ferrari 296 GT3 on Wednesday (15th March).
Originally announced during the 24 Hours of Spa weekend that it would happen back in July of 2022, the Ferrari 296 GT3 is one of three cars expected, alongside both the Porsche 911 992 GT3-spec and the Lamborghini Huracán Evo2.
Kunos Co-Founder Marco Massarutto said in that SRO Motorsports Group conference that the ACC platform would be supporting the 2023 season for the SRO Fanatec GT World Challenge with liveries and new cars. This particular Ferrari is currently in its debut year in real-world competition.
Kunos unveiled the first look at the new car in-game, but more importantly, they also announced when it will be available to own. That date is 19th April, and it will be available solely on Steam at that time. No word on this car or the other 2023 GT3 cars coming to console players at this time.
When we find out more information, such as if this will be standalone content or a part of a larger DLC pack, as well as the price of everything, we’ll let you know. Keep it pinned.
