Last week, Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games unveiled that the new Ferrari 296 GT3 would be heading to Assetto Corsa Competizione next month. On Monday (20th March), it was announced that the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2 is also joining the platform on the same date, 19th April.
Both the Ferrari and Lamborghini were originally announced to be coming to ACC during the 24 Hours of Spa weekend back in July of 2022, alongside the Porsche 911 992 GT3-spec. The Porsche has not yet been revealed, but with just under a month until the release, it is probably a safe bet.
Kunos Co-Founder Marco Massarutto said in that SRO Motorsports Group conference that the ACC platform would be supporting the 2023 season for the SRO Fanatec GT World Challenge with liveries and new cars. This particular vehicle is the new Evo2 variant that was unveiled in May of 2022.
Just like the Ferrari, Kunos unveiled the first look at the new car in-game with the video plus when it will be available to own, 19th April. Similarly, it will be available solely on Steam at that time. We’ll await word on the Porsche or any other possible new content coming at that time.
