2022 Stock Car Pro Series, Galeão track coming soon to Automobilista 2 for free

Digging deeper into that same Reiza Studios development update, in which we posted about the Formula Ultimate Gen2 coming to Automobilista 2 earlier today, there is a lot more to report that is coming soon as well as later in the year.

Perhaps the backbone to the simulation platform, the Brazilian Stock Cars will be getting their annual update soon to the 2022 specification. That will include the cars, both the Chevrolet Cruze and the Toyota Corolla, as well as the roster of drivers and their respective liveries.

Even though iRacing has these cars now, AMS2 is still that sim that puts a lot of focus on these machines. AMS2 will feature a lot more with these cars, including a ton of the venues they visit. Plus, you won’t have to hope your favorite driver’s paint is on Trading Paints like it is on iRacing, it will likely be included here.

Per the company, this is the thirteenth year that Reiza and the Brazilian Stock Car series have been partnered together with 11 total seasons represented across all of their sims. Currently, the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Stock Car Brazil seasons can be found on AMS2, as well as the 1979, 1986 and 1999 historical seasons.

Just recently, a little over two weeks ago, the series had its second event of the season at the Autodromo Ayrton Senna in Goiânia, which was won by former Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello. Their next event will take place at Galeão International Airport temporary track in Rio de Janeiro.

Speaking of which, Galeão will also be included in the upcoming update, and should be available for free alongside the Stock Cars before the next event on 10th April. Just recently, AMS2 included the Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport Circuit with the Racin’ USA pt2 DLC.

Also speaking of the Racin’ USA DLC, the third part should release by the end of July, focusing on oval racing in America. There will also be a bonus part four coming free sometime in 2023 to the full Racin’ USA DLC pack owners.

Other than that, Nürburgring 1971 and Spa-Francorchamps 1970 are also in production, and more on those can be viewed on the forum post. What are you most looking forward to in the coming updates for Automobilista 2? Let us know in the comments!
