iRacing‘s 2022 Season 2 enters its ninth week today (10th May), and that means that the Touring Car Turn Racing Challenge series switches over to Knockhill Racing Circuit for the next seven days. Dave Cam returns to once again give you his expertise with these cars on this particular track.
Knockhill Racing Circuit is a great track for Touring Cars, but as Dave points out, the racing can get chaotic at times. The International Circuit has nine corners and measures in at 2.1-kilometers or 1.3-miles. Getting out in front in qualifying will be crucial to a good finish, so learning the track is the first step.
Dave will be utilizing the Hyundai Elantra N Touring Car, one of the choices in the Touring Car Turn Racing Challenge official series. That series hosts the Elantra N, Audi RS 3 LMS, Honda Civic Type R and the Hyundai Veloster N TC.
The slow and methodical approach is a proven method, and in the school of Dave, it’s the first step towards mastering any track. Dave has all of the braking zones, reference points, and other quirks to get you up to speed with today’s track.
The iRacing Touring Car Turn Racing Challenge full season schedule is listed below. Make sure you check out all of Dave’s other videos on the Traxion.GG platforms. Go vote now for Dave’s next Pick N’ Mix challenge later this week. Keep it pinned!
