The second week of iRacing 2022 Season 1 is here, and as is custom, we’ve got Dave Cam with another track guide. This season, he’s focusing on the Global Mazda MX-5 Fanatec Cup. This week, the series heads to the Full Course at Okayama International Circuit.
Sporting the Traxion.GG Global Mazda MX-5 Cup car, Dave is back with his proven slow and methodical approach around the Japanese course. Okayama’s Full Course is 3.703-kilometers, or 2.3-miles in length. The full venue sports 13 corners, and Dave has a trick to get the most out of every single one of them.
From tyre marks on the pavement to how much sand you can lay into, Dave’s got the tips to memorize every inch. He’ll also take you through pit road entry and exit, as well as the best places to pass. While this isn’t a place for hot laps, it is a place of higher education, all for the low price of free. I hope you brought your notebook!
