Shop sim racing equipment
Steam’s Spring Sale is now live for PC owners, and quite literally hundreds of video games are discounted, some more than others.
We’ve sifted through the offers, and here are what we think are the 10 best sim racing deals (with a few racing video games thrown in).
Steam’s Spring Sale ends 20th March 2025, 10 am PT.
BeamNG.drive – 20% off

The soft-body physics simulation requires plenty of horsepower to run at its best, but once you’re up and running with BeamNG, some of the world’s best vehicle handling and damage modelling (if not, the) opens up to you.
- £15.36/$19.99
Le Mans Ultimate – 13% off

It may not be the biggest discount, but that’s because Le Mans Ultimate is on the up, with recent player numbers breaking records.
It does require significant extra DLC to bring in the 2024 season, and that’s sadly not discounted during this sale.
But, with the base game you can enter daily ranked multiplayer races across all car classes, thanks in part to two recently added free LMGT3 vehicles.
- £25.22/$33.05
EA SPORTS F1 24 – 85%

Yes, it’s far from the best Codemasters Formula 1 game. But also, it’s under £10/$10, and in the pre-real-world season hype, that’s hard to argue with.
- £8.99/$10.42
SnowRunner – Up to 50% off

Yes, it’s not racing, and yes, some people prefer the aforementioned BeamNG’s off-road physics.
SnowRunner is the antithesis of sim racing. You’re driving big trucks slowly. But, that’s the point. Sometimes, you need to chill out, so why not do it driving something virtually in a realistic-enough fashion?
The base game is reduced, but we’d recommend the one-year anniversary edition, which includes some of the DLC for not much more.
- SnowRunner base game – £12.49/$14.99
- 1-year anniversary edition, 50% off
EA SPORTS WRC 24 – 70% off

One of the best deals here, because it doesn’t have the best visuals, but it drives well and this includes the 2024-season expansion. Even if you have mixed feelings, this EA SPORTS WRC deals makes it a bargain.
- £11.99/$14.99
Automobilista 2 – 70% off

The enjoyment to be had in Automobilsita 2, in some ways, isn’t necessarily the driving itself, but the curio content. There are Brazilian circuits here, that are severely underrated, that are not seen elsewhere.
Throw in a diverse mix of vehicles, dynamic weather and robust VR support, and this is a fun experience.
The base game is a massive 70% off, and then the myriad of DLCs and bundles are also reduced, so if you’ve not expanded your AMS2 library, now is the best time to.
- Base game – £10.49/$11.99
- ‘All-inclusive bundle’ 51% Off
- Individual DLCs between 50 and 70% off
WRC 7 – 90% off

This age-old official WRC game from 2017 is perplexing. It routinely has more players than the more recent DiRT Rally and EA SPORTS WRC games, and in many ways, those are a lot better than this – engine sounds and handling physics to name but two.
But WRC 7 works well with a controller, or gamepad, and at this crazy price, that’s seemingly what the majority of rally game fans are after.
- £1.69/$1.99
Automation – 25% off

True, you don’t actually drive cars in Automation, but you do create them and in insane levels of details.
The New Zealand-developed car tycoon game see you create the automotive company of your dreams – and if you do end up wanting to drive some of your creations, you can export into BeamNG.
- £18.74
rFactor 2 – 84% off

This racing simulation is older than the sun, but if you happen to have a PC and a steering wheel peripheral and have never tried rFactor 2’s force feedback – then under $5 provides you the experience.
It’s slow to load, visually looks tired and most of the cool content is paid DLC. But, the driving experience is beyond reproach.
- £3.99/$4.79
New Star GP – 40% off

Yes, we didn’t include the original Assetto Corsa or Assetto Corsa Competizione in this rundown, but at this point, are they ever not on sale?!
So instead, here’s New Star GP, an indie ‘arcade’ game – which is blooming fantastic. There’s a sense of charm, character, often omitted in 2025 gaming. Sure, it’s colourful and sometimes simplistic, but there’s a sense of progression, you at least need to brake and the hints at retro F1 leave us with a large grin on our faces.
- £5.99/$5.99
