Assetto Corsa Competizione is the official game of the GT World Challenge series, showcasing the exciting world of GT3 racecars with official backing from the likes of Lamborghini, Porsche and Ferrari. It was released on PC in 2018.

Some of the finest circuits in the world are represented too, with laser-scanned versions of Laguna Seca, Spa-Francorchamps and Monza featured, among many others. DLC packs boosted the game’s track roster up to 22 (from 11), and its cars list to 43 (including Evo models).

Unfortunately, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Assetto Corsa Competizione suffered from performance issues, causing frame drops. This was most apparent in wet weather racing.

Although the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Assetto Corsa Competizione released at v1.7 – as opposed to the PC’s v1.8 – this was addressed by an update on the 29th of September 2022. This brought the ninth-generation of console iterations into line with the PC editions.
