The final original Assetto Corsa Competizione track to be covered in this series, Zolder can be found in the North East of Belgium. Renowned for not being the most famous circuit in the country, this place has its own challenges that set it apart from many other European venues.
I personally love the test that Zolder brings. I find that trying to be as precise as possible whilst you thread the needle and bounce from apex to apex can be immensely rewarding. It’s no secret that the key to a fast lap here is knowing how much of the circuit you can cut….
The more you push the boundaries of the track limits, the straighter the chicanes become and therefore the speed you can carry increases drastically.
I have laid out some target lap times for you to chase when learning the circuit:
- Pro : 1:26.60
- Pro/Am : 1:29.50
- Am : 1:32.00
- My Laptime : 1:27.20
