Earlier this week, Traxion was invited to the Assetto Corsa Competizione PS5/Xbox Series X|S launch event at the Oracle Red Bull Racing Technology Campus in Milton Keynes.
There, we were treated to some vital sim time with the newly released console iterations and were able to evaluate its performance in back-to-back comparisons with the PC version.
As well as getting a first-hand look at the huge jump in console performance of Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), we caught up with Nick Turner, Senior Brand Manager at 505 Games, to discuss how the launch is shaping up and how the community has reacted to the game so far.
Nick also speaks about the overall improvements made to the ACC console experience and what we can expect from the next gen versions. Finally, he thanks the ACC community – “brand evangelists” in his words – for their contributions in helping the game’s continuous improvement across all platforms.
