The folks at KartKraft will release the International Circuit of Genk on Thursday, 23rd September for the Early Access karting sim. This well-known karting track was teased in Tom’s interview with Zach Griffin, Director of Studio at Motorsports Games Australia.
The 1.36-kilometer, 0.85-mile circuit in Belgium is historically tied with Formula 1’s Max Verstappen. Verstappen was able to hone his racing skills growing up competing at the venue.
John Munro, who has dabbled in KartKraft before with a VR headset, is up in the Traxion Towers to test the new circuit in with a number of different karts in the game. John does preface things by saying he’s not Alex Albon or Nyck de Vries, but I think he does a pretty good job when he gets on track against the AI. Stay tuned to see how that plays out.
Watch how John is able to learn the course, push the limits, and ultimately figure out how to kart around Genk in his latest track preview. KartKraft is currently available in Early Access on Steam for $19.99 / £15.99 / €17.99.
