WATCH: Let’s play TOCA Race Driver 3, Episode 7

It’s been 15 years since TOCA Race Driver 3 was released. 15 years.

I cannot believe it. I can still remember reading the PS2 manual on the bus home from town, letting my imagination run wild with the possibilities of driving a TVR around Mondello Park.

Those where the days. Except, today is also the days. That doesn’t make grammatical sense, but bear with me.

You see, this is episode seven of my TOCA Race Driver 3 World Tour mode playthrough and thanks to the wonders of video games not expiring like a cassette in a Mission Impossible film, I can still play it. Again, and again. So, I am.

Because I am a glutton for punishment, in this episode, we are going to go back to rallying and not just any rallying, stages in a Group B Audi Quattro no less.

Even the in-game thumbnail for the event, the car has damage. Maybe I should have taken that as a form of foreshadowing…
