WATCH: Let’s Play TOCA Race Driver 3, Episode 23

After graduating from the Formula 3 in the last episode, this week’s Let’s Play TOCA Race Driver 3 places me in a mid-nineties Formula 1 racer. Tier 28 only yields two options with the Williams F1 or with V8 Supercars, the latter I’ve driven back in episode 14.

John Traxion did very well with the eighties Williams F1, but Rick might be skeptical after our first couple of outings in the nineties car. Only 750 BHP in this newer F1 adaptation, 50 less than the older one. Unfortunately less BHP doesn’t account for how tough it is to grip tarmac on old or cold tires.

The four race championship takes us to Hockenheim first, followed up with Silverstone, Zandvoort and Oschersleben. All familiar tracks, but all a pain off the get go. Hopefully I can find some… Traxion… when these tires are not at their best.
