Watch as John jumps into Automobilista 2’s latest Racin’ USA pt2 DLC update.
The update brought a new track and a number of new cars to Reiza’s colourful and varied sim, including the McLaren MP4-1C and Road America. But for this video John will be concentrating on using the F-USA Gen3 cars around the afore-mentioned Elkhart Lake-based circuit, and will be demonstrating the sim’s epic plug-and-play VR experience.
Mimicking the 2000 CART championship, where Reynard and Lola chassis battled it out across 20 rounds, the F-USA Gen3 cars feature fictionalised liveries from the era. So instead of Dario Franchitti’s Team KOOL Reynard, John picks the Team GOOD AMS2 equivalent livery.
This turns out to be quite appropriate, as the VR experience in Automobilista 2 (AMS2) can be described as both GOOD and KOOL.
