It’s finally here, the inaugural round of the Formula Pro Series. A new esports championship, it will be the competitive debut for the new Formula Pro car within rFactor 2 and you can watch it all live on the Traxion.GG YouTube or Facebook feeds.

There’s a prize pool worth over $25,000 up for grabs across the championship, that consists of six races. There will be practice, qualifying and a 60-minute race. It will feature a standing start plus a mandatory in-race tyre change.

13 of the very best professional esports teams will line up on the grid, each fielding two cars for a total of 26 snarling naturally aspirated V10 single-seaters.

There’s also a related esports series, Formula Challenge, using the same car and venue list as Formula Pro, but open to anyone with rFactor 2. Entry is via the in-game Competition System and then broken down into several splits.

With the first race held at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the action is set to be intense. You won’t want to miss this series and Traxion is the place to catch it all live. You can find all the details below.
