WATCH - Fanatec CSL Elite V2 Pedals review

We go hands-on with the new Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2, which are unveiled and available for sale right now.

Priced at €299,95, $299,95 USD and $499,95 AUD, this set includes throttle, a load cell brake and clutch pedals, made from cast and machined aluminium. They are compatible with PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

In comparison to the 2016 ‘V1’ items, this is all in one package. Previously, the Load Cell brake pedal was an optional upgrade. Additional chassis strengthening has been added to the rear of the chassis and the way you adjust the brake pedal’s set-up has a new method.

For longevity’s sake, the brake and clutch now use hall-effect magnetic sensors as opposed to potentiometers. The main change, however, is the actual load cell that delivers braking feedback, as it’s an all-new design.

Watch this video to see how we get on with the new device and let us know in the comments below if you think these are a worthy upgrade.
