WATCH: ACC on Boosted Media’s Triple 65″ 4K Mixed Reality Motion Sim Rig

Justin Melillo

This sim racing rig is truly a sight to behold. Will, AKA Boosted Media, might have the greatest, most immersive DIY setup that I’ve ever seen. On Tuesday, he posted some racing footage from his rig utilizing Assetto Corsa Competizione with a quick race at Bathurst.

Three 65″ 4K monitors connected with a modified bezel-free kit on both sides can immerse someone with just that. Combine that with an amazing PC system with the best graphics possible and some of the best sim peripherals on the market, and you’ll get something like this. I can’t even list it all, there’s so much that went into this.

I mean, just look at this video. If you didn’t know any better, you could easily mistake this for GoPro helmet footage of a real car at the real track. Sure, it’s not perfect, but it really is an incredible build.

Honestly, this is the dream. I don’t even care if I suck at it, that just looks fun as anything to play any racing game in. I don’t think I could be convinced to let go of that wheel.

Take the next 18 minutes of your free time and just enjoy this video like I did. It’s definitely worth your time if you’re into impressive sim racing setups like this.
