The official game of the World Superbike Championship, VRider SBK, will be released for Meta Quest VR headsets on the 6th June.

Originally available via the Quest App Lab, the Funny Tales-developed title has undergone some behind-the-scenes fettling allowing it to be sold via the official Meta Store.

VRider SBK allows players to get behind the handlebars of all the superbikes of the 2023 WSBK season, featuring the likes of six-time champion Jonathan Rea, Toprak Razgatlioglu and current title holder Alvaro Bautista, with five bike manufacturers and 12 licenced tracks also available to sample.

Compatible with Meta’s Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro headsets, VRider SBK will feature online multiplayer plus Quick Race, Track Trial, Tournament, Ghost Challenge, Endurance, and Hot Lap modes.

Using Funny Tales’ proprietary MotionWellness Technology to provide a comfortable VR experience, VRiders SBK also introduces a helpful auto-brake assist for those struggling with the immersive way the on-screen action is displayed.
