Thrustmaster to support DiRT 2.0 World Series finals

Equipment manufacturer Thrustmaster will support and sponsor the finals of the DiRT rally 2.0 World Series. Alongside their branding in the game and broadcast, competitors will also be using the latest Thrustmaster rally equipment to compete.

The finals of the racing esports series will take place on the 27th February and will feature the top 6 drivers in both rally and rallycross. There’s a $20,000 prize pool in total that is being split across the two disciplines. A special prize of a test drive in the new QEV electric rallycross car.

“The standard of racing in the series is always top class and supports the same qualities of competitive, fair and skilled driving that Thrustmaster promotes. The realism and immersive gameplay of the series is totally matching the spirit we are giving to our products’ range.  Good luck to everyone involved.” – Eric Mindjimba, Thrustmaster

Thrustmaster also supported last year’s DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series, held at Autosport International Show. It was one of the only major esports events to happen in front of a live crowd in the 2020. Unfortunately, the 2021 finale will be online but the talents of Andrew Coley (the voice of WorldRX) and Jon Armstrong (rally driver and Codemasters employee) will ensure an incredible show no doubt.
