Sitting large and proud amongst the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong Island, the giant sculpture will act as your home within the upcoming open-world driving game.

1,772 ft high, this is your headquarters, as the ‘influential’ organisation Radiant invites you to stay in one of its rooms. It’s here where you’ll be able to customise your character and also check your progress.

As you delve deeper into the racing squad culture, you will be offered ever-luxurious suites.

The home-buying mechanism from the prior Test Drive Unlimited titles, which provided players with a strong sense of achievement, will be absent initially.

“We know that houses made an impression on TDU players,” said the game’s Creative Director, Alain Jarniou,.

“While this feature is not in the game when TDUSC launches, it is part of a long list of features we have already researched for future content in the medium and long term.”

Plastic surgery

The lobby of the hotel will act as a hub, being able to meet other players online and purchase clothing from a store.

You’ll also be able to visit a beauty salon for… appearance-changing plastic surgery.

Four cars will be on display here, changing daily to represent top players of the game, while a quick call to the valet service will deliver your desired vehicle for you to start your day with.

As it stands, a firm release date is not yet known, and gameplay has not been shown. However, the final sentence of the development update blog provides hope:

“Reservations and the first tours will open soon.”
