The third round of Gran Turismo's World Series starts this weekend

With just one Manufacturers Cup and one Nations Cup left ahead of the World Finals, the upcoming third round is the last chance for the competitors to seize the moment before Monaco.

It’s the brand-themed race that happens first, the pre-recorded event will be broadcast on the Gran Turismo TV YouTube Channel on Sunday 6th November at 1 pm GMT / 2 pm CET / 5 am PST / 8 am EST.

This will be followed at the same time, same place, a week later for the third Nations Cup round (13th November).

So far, Subaru has been dominating the manufacturer’s competition, with series debutant Kylian Drumont sweeping up the plaudits so far. The French upstart is near the top of the country-based competition too, duking it out with 2018 champion Igor Fraga of Brazil.

Deep Forest Raceway will hold the Manufacturers Cup event, for 16 laps of BoP’d Gr.3 action. Tyre wear is set to 6x, so watching which strategies will play out will likely provide interest.

Gran Turismo 7 Bonus Round, third round 2022

For the Nations Cup event seven days later, it’s 15 laps at the same venue, but everyone will be in identical barnstorming Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 ’84 machines.
