A fresh FIM Superbike World Championship, aka WorldSBK, game has been release and is now available for iOS and Android mobile devices.
The free download covers the 2020 SBK season, with the real-world tracks, motorcycles, riders and teams, plus the first five rounds of the 2021 season – with presumably more to follow.
In all, 14 tracks are included in the game, plus the top-class Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati and BMW motorbikes.
The main crux of the game is racing against your WorldSBK rivals and earning experience points as you go, which will help you level up and unlock in-game rewards. Bike repairs and tuning are also a factor. But, there are also Daily Quests and online-leaderboard enabled Time Attack and Quick Races modes too.
There is a suite of rider assists and difficulty settings, and you control the game through a combination of tilt motion and on-screen taps.
Developer Digital Tales has promised that Career and Multiplayer modes, plus changeable weather conditions will arrive at a later date too.
The current World Superbike season has been dominated by a fierce battle between six-time world champion Jonathan Rea and young upstart Toprak Razgatlioglu. The championship-deciding final round is in Indonesia on the 20th and 21st November – so you’ll be able to play the SBK Official Mobile Game to get hyped for the finale.
