Forza Horizon 5 may be dominating the PlayStation 5 sales charts, but The Crew Motorfest continues to receive live service updates, with Season 7 just around the corner. There’s no full reveal yet, but Ivory Tower has detailed a slew of quality-of-life improvements players can look forward to in the next season update.
Season 7 will see the vehicle-favouriting system, known as Fast Fav, expand, allowing you to add up to four instead of three vehicles for instant access. Furthermore, it will no longer be restricted to one vehicle per terrain type, and there will also be a new recommended vehicle section.

In addition, Season 7 will add a new ‘Immersive Mode’ that removes the UI elements, along with new dynamic races. Grand Races will also be enhanced with split time indicators to track your performance, a spectator mode and new gameplay modifiers.
A more hardcore version of the existing Pro Racing Modifier will restrict players to the cockpit camera and disable the mini map, while a new Alpha Jet Modifier will blend road races with air sections.
Elsewhere, the Main Stage is being overhauled. Instead of the same objectives repeating each week, challenges will now repeat and match each week’s theme. In Summits, a new Sequential Shift Modifier will also force manual gear shifting.

Ivory Tower has yet to confirm Season 7’s theme, but we can likely expect new Year 2 Pass cars and themed playlists. The last Season added a raft of Red Bull vehicles, challenges and a new arena.
Season 7’s release date has yet to be announced. However, given that The Crew Motorfest’s seasons tend to roll out every four months, we’re expecting Season 7 to arrive in early July.
