How do you access The Crew Motorfest Closed Beta?

The play The Crew Motorfest Closed Beta, you must first register on the game’s website. At the time of writing, you can still register, although don’t expect every single person signed up to be able to take part – what we do know is that up to 100,000 keys are available for the PlayStation platform alone.

If you are successful, you will receive an email. Then, redeem the code via the dedicated online form. Then you’ll receive a second email for the platform-specific code to redeem via the relevant store.

What platforms is The Crew Motorfest Beta on?

  • PC (Ubisoft Connect)
  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox Series X|S

It’s only on PC via the Ubisoft Connect app, where you’ll be a Ubisoft account, or via PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

While the final game will be available via different PC stores, such as Steam, too and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the Beta excludes these platforms.

How big is the Crew Motorfest Closed Beta download?

The download size varied per platform, but it’s around 34 GB on PC and 33 GB on PS5.

What’s included in the Closed Beta?

The Crew Motorfest‘s Closed Beta will include cars, motorcycles, monster trucks, planes and boats, with 567 vehicles – but it’s worth noting, this is not the full vehicle roster of the final game. More will be unveiled over time.

New notable additions include the Lamborghini Revuelto, GMC Hummer EV, Northrop Grumman F4U Corsair plane and Lotus Evija hypercar.

The main single-player career is based around a playlist structure, which includes dedicated themed levels. Once you complete each playlist, you unlock a new vehicle and also optional challenges to complete. There are the following five playlists in the Closed Beta.

  • Electric Odyssey
  • Hawaii Scenic Tour
  • A Porsche Story
  • Made in Japan
  • Vintage Garage

We recommend the Hawaii Scenic Tour to kick off with, as you’ll see one of the game’s strengths so far – the stunning Hawaiian island of O‘ahu, and through cars, boats and planes.

Made in Japan showcases the night-time street-racing scene, which for the first time for The Crew, features Toyota cars.

There are also two PvP online modes part of this test too:

  • Grand Race
  • Demolition Royale

The Grand Race is just that – a big point-to-point race with up to 28 online players, a high player count. Demolition Royale, meanwhile, is an online battle royale mode. With up to 32 players, an area of the map is cordoned off. There are bonus drops (such as health and shield) and XP for smashing into and wiping out rivals. You are broken down into ‘crews’ and the last crew left, wins.

Can I share images and videos from the Beta?

Absolutely, there’s no NDA, embargo or restrictions on sharing content from The Crew Motorfest‘s Closed Beta.

It’s worth bearing in mind that your progress through the Closed Beta will not carry across to the final game.
