Here is how to find every wreck (hidden car) within KT Racing’s Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown game.
What is a wreck in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown?
A wreck is a hidden car, which is sat in a decrepit state. Finding one counts towards one of two completed cars. Their locations are not pinpointed on the in-game map, but if you drive near one by chance, then a notification will appear on screen, beeping quicker the closer you drive towards one.
How many wrecks are there in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown?
There are two cars to collect from wrecks:
- Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (1954)
- Volkswagen Beetle Buggy (1972)
However, to fully restore these to their former glory and add them to your collection, you must find 14 parts (or ‘wrecks’ in TDU SC parlance) for each. So there are 28 total wrecks to discover.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown wreck locations
Wan Chai
Wan Chai Mercedes Wreck – Just south of the Wan Chai Est Gas Station, is a construction area with jumps between two blocks. Enter the construction area, and you will find the Mercedes wreck next to a jump and a crane.
Wan Chai Volkwagen Wreck – The VW wreck here is Southwest of Solar Hotel Meeting Point. Upon entering the area by smashing through some gates (entrance in the map image), turn immediately left, and drive through an open entrance. Turn right and you will see two parked trucks. The wreck is behind them.
Chai Wan
Chai Wan Mercedes-Benz Wreck – Northwest of the Streets HQ, there is a dockyard. Head through the entrance, and take the first right. It’s inside the first block of containers, which has an entrance at either end.
Chai Wan Volkswagen Wreck – To the southwest of Chai Wan, there’s a single-lane road that meanders down towards blocks of flats, below the main road. In the southernmost corner is a Radiant Prize, and next to it, a dirt track will appear on the map (the dotted lines will arrive once you start driving on it). Drive down the dirt to find run-down flats and the wreck.
Western District
Western District Volkswagen Wreck – In the north at the area’s peak, there’s a dockyard with a thin strip leading out to the sea. Above the Sharp HQ, near Western District Meeting Point. Drive down the pier-like area. The wreck is at the very end on the left.
Western District Mercedes Wreck – In the west of the district, there’s a hill with a section of private roads, right in the middle. Simply navigate to the road that juts off with no connecting track. Down the ramp and under the building is the Mercedes wreck.
Western District Mercedes Wreck 2 – It’s inside the parking area of the Shun Tak Centre building. There’s a 24-hour’ public car park, and it’s in a space visible from the main road. The building is in the northeast of the area, near the Classic Car Dealership in the abutting Central District.
Victoria Peak
Victoria Peak Mercedes Wreck – On Plantation Road, there’s a speed trap with the same name. At the speed trap, there’s a driveway entrance to a construction site. This is north of the Dirt & Offroad dealership. The Mercedes wreck is to your left after entry.
Aberdeen
Aberdeen Volkswagen Wreck – Offroad, down the first tracks, at the very north of Aberdeen, close to the border with Victoria Peak and near the race event Dam and Blast. There’s a fork in the road, and if you look carefully, a narrow downhill dirt path with a breakable fence blocking it. Smash through the fence, and a new dotted line path appears on the map. Follow this until the end to find the hidden wreck. You will arrive at a beach, and the car is on the left.
Aberdeen Second Volkswagen Wreck – Just north of the Aberdeen East Gas Station, which is on a freeway after a toll booth. Head north just a few feet from the gas station and in the middle of the lanes is your wreck.
Aberdeen Mercedes Wreck – Offroad, north of Aberdeen Gas Station and west of the area’s German Performance dealership there is an Aberdeen Nature Trail Speed Trap. Adjacent is a viaduct, and next to said viaduct is a hidden trail not on the map. As soon as you start driving down it, the dotted line appears. Head down this route and the Mercedes wreck is resting on a corner looking towards the viaduct.
Central District
Central District Volkswagen Wreck – This is on the northern coast of Central District, off the main road and down footpaths.
Head northeast from the British Performance Dealership. Above, north, of the Centre Stage Clan Race, is a small roundabout. Above that is a small pathway entrance. Drive along there and head towards the sea/ocean. Drive down some staris, and along the edge of the water is your hidden wreck.
Causeway Bay
Causeway Bay Mercedes Wreck – Just northeast of the Causeway Bay East Gas Station, near the top of the map, is a construction site. Smash through the barriers and behind a concrete post is the hidden wreck.
Causeway Bay Volkswagen Wreck – The Causeway Bay area is in the north of the map, but this wreck is in the south of this district. To the right of the main Solar Hotel is a single-lane country road. As it joins a wider road, there’s a secret path, which as you drive on the gravel, will then appear as a dotted line on the map. Drive down it, and you’ll find a secluded pond, and the wreck is in the middle.
Quarry Bay
Quarry Bay Volkswagen Wreck – You must be on the far north edge of the map, near the ocean, and east of the district, near the border with Causeway Bay. There’s a construction site, but avoid the big freeway that goes over the top. Instead, start on the nearest city street on ground level.
There’s a small sliver of construction work near the area’s American Car Dealership. Head down the dirt track and into the main construction area. Inside a concrete square is your wreck.
Quarry Bay Mercedes Wreck – Northeast of the Quarry Bay Meeting Point there is a ship placed within the city. To the left of the ship, just off the main road, resides the wreck.
Pok Fun Lam
Pok Fu Lam Mercedes Wreck – Down at the southwestern tip of the district, there’s a narrow road with a kink in it. At this point, turn off the road and onto the grass and trees. Slide down the hill toward the ocean.
You will find another dirt track, the dotted line now appearing on your map. Here’s the next wreck.
Pok Fu Lam Volkswagen Wreck – On the east coast of the region, south of the Pok Fu Lam Workshop is a set of stairs, downhill, at a fork in the road. The wreck is at the bottom of the stairs and the dirt track, to the left of the building.
Repulse Bay
Repulse Bay Mercedes Wreck – At the very northwest of the Repulse Bay district is a golf course, just off the side of the main road. Drive onto the lawns, heading away from the coast and in the far corner next to a small building is the wreck.
Repulse Bay Volkswagen Wreck – At the Repulse Bay Workshop, head southwest in a straight line towards the coast. Cross across the main road, head down the stairs towards the beach and the wreck is just to your right once on the sand.
Happy Valley
Happy Valley Mercedes Wreck – Just north of Happy Valley’s American Car Dealership sits a race track. In the middle of the venue, you will find a parking area with a crane on the inside of a corner, near a large grandstand. Here’s your Mercedes.
Happy Valley Volkswagen Wreck – This wreck is at the back of the Happy Valley North Gas Station, which is in the northwest of the region, south of the Solar Hotel.
Tai Tam
Tai Tam Mercedes Wreck – Above the Tai Tam North Meeting Point is a series of dirt tracks. At one point, three dirt tracks meet at an intersection. Here, there is also a hidden path.
Drive towards the small buildings and the dotted line for a path will appear on your map. Follow the longest one. Along your way, there will be a folk, take the one on the left. This is a very long pathway. Drive all the way until the end to find the wreck.
Tai Tam Volkswagen Wreck – Drive to the Tai Tam South Meeting Point, which, suitably, is at the very bottom of the district perimeter. There is a small road running east of the meeting point – drive all the way down it.
There’s a small gravel road when the pavement ends, drive down that too and watch the dotted line appear on the map. At the end of there is the Volkswagen.
Stanley
Stanley Mercedes Wreck – In the southern area of Stanley, there is a vertical landmass. At the top of this area, there is a hidden dirt path at an intersection. This is west of the Tung Tau Wan Road speed trap.
Upon entering will add a dotted line to the map. Follow this path all the way down until you find a block of four buildings. The wreck is in a garage-like area of one of these buildings.
Stanley Volkswagen Wreck – West of the Peals of Asia car dealership in Stanley is a small parking lot. In here, left corner, is your wreck.
Shek O
Shek O Mercedes Wreck – To the east of this district is a hidden island. You can access this very close to the main Shek O Meeting Point (to the left of) at a junction.
As soon as you start driving down the dirt path, the dotted line will appear on the map. This will lead you across the sand and water, and at the other side, in the trees, is the wreck.
Shek 0 Volkswagen Wreck – Another very secluded one, with Skek O perhaps the trickiest area to find wrecks. First, find the Shek O Road (South) Speed Trap, then head to the western coast from there. Very close to that trap is an intersection, where the road goes either right or left. Head straight on and you will wind a hidden path, and dotted lines will appear on the map.
After heading downhill, keep following the track. Avoid the first two options for left turns you see, and head for the third. This in itself is not on the map until you start driving down it. A small loop of dotted lines will appear, and at the end of here is the Volkswagen wreck.
