A new update has been released for the PC version of Assetto Corsa Competizione, but be warned: it’s not a big one.

Fresh from an intriguing SimRacing Expo 2025, where it previewed the v0.4 build of Assetto Corsa EVO and the off-road-focused Assetto Corsa Rally, developer Kunos Simulazioni has dropped a minuscule patch to add a single livery.

Applied to the Alpine A110 GT4 car, the new paint scheme has presumably been added in preparation for the 2025 edition of the Alpine Esports Series, which the French sports car manufacturer has run since 2021.

Although details surrounding Alpine’s esports competition have yet to be formally announced, the ACC update has also apparently offered a minor fix for the Pirelli tyre logos found on the game’s selection of GT cars, adjusting the size of the lettering for a more realistic look.

According to ACC Discord moderator ‘TG0198’, the spinning tyre effect has also been reworked at long last, applying a fix first used in AC EVO (although some users are reporting issues when motion blur is applied in the graphics settings).

Many ACC fans will likely be disappointed by the brevity of the game’s tiny Alpine update, but there’s hope that more substantial content additions will arrive in future, with an ACC spokesperson stating that “we’re not done with Competizione yet,” back in June.
